Overview
Purchase Request Administration in SARA enables authorized purchasing personnel to effectively manage purchase requests. This includes reviewing submissions, requesting supplier quotations, approving or rejecting requisitions, and eventually converting approved requests into purchase orders.

Who can review and process purchase requests?
Personnel with Requisition Administration permissions in SARA.
Can I modify a request after it’s approved?
No. You can cancel it and create a revised one, or request that the purchasing team return it for further modifications.
What if a supplier is not in the catalog?
A supplier must be registered in the Suppliers Catalog before it can be used in quotes or orders.
Can I split items into multiple purchase orders?
Yes. If different suppliers are approved, you can split the requisition into multiple POs.
How can I track the status of a purchase request?
Use the Purchase Requests List to see current status, priority, and time left.
