Events — Workflow

Overview

Events follows the standard catalog lifecycle in SARA. Records are created in an active state and can be deactivated or reactivated as needed. Unlike most catalogs, inactive events can also be permanently deleted along with all their images.

Note

For the standard catalog lifecycle pattern, see: Workflows & Pipelines

Status lifecycle

  • ACTV — Active. The event is visible in the list, its photo gallery is accessible via "Go to", and it can be edited.
  • INAC — Inactive. The event remains in the system but the "Go to" and "Edit" actions are no longer available. An INAC event can be reactivated or permanently deleted.

Info

For system-wide status guidance, see: Status

Lifecycle notes

  • Status changes require a confirmation dialog before taking effect.
  • The "Go to" action (link to the event photo gallery) is available only when the event is ACTV and has at least one uploaded image.
  • INAC events expose a Delete event action that permanently removes the event record and all its images. This is irreversible.
