Kanban — Permissions
Overview
This page documents the permissions used in the Kanban feature. Permissions determine which boards a user can see, which actions are available on boards and cards, and which calendar views are accessible.

Troubleshooting access
- If the Kanban menu item is missing or the page redirects on load, the user is missing the
viewpermission. - If a user can see a board but the Edit and Delete buttons are not visible, they have
viewbut noteditoradmin. - If the New Kanban and Templates buttons are not visible, the user does not have
admin. - If the General Calendar button is not visible, the user does not have
general calendar. - If section Edit name and Delete section options are not visible on a template-based board, the user is not an admin. These controls are hidden for non-admin users on template-based boards by design.
- If a board is not appearing in the selector, the user has not been added as an assigned collaborator. An admin must edit the board and add the user.
