Plants — Permissions
Overview
This page documents the permissions used in the Plants feature. Permissions determine which screens a user can access and which actions are available within them.
For general access concepts, see: Permissions & Access
Permissions by transaction

view |
Access the Plants screen and both the Plants and Access tabs. Required for all other access. |
edit |
Create new plants; open and save the plant edit form; deactivate and activate plants. Controls the + New Plant button and the Edit, Deactivate, and Activate row actions in the Plants tab. |
| Permission | Grants access to |
|---|---|
view |
View all access records, open the View and Edit modals, create new access records, and download access documents. The Access tab is fully available to any user with view — no additional permission is required. |
plant access expiration email |
Receive automated email notifications when access records are 15 days from expiration or have expired. This permission does not control UI access — it only determines who receives the notification. |
Note
The edit permission controls write actions in the Plants tab only. All create and edit actions in the Access tab are available to any user with view.
